A source link is required — it is how we verify the dog, pull the photo, and build the share kit.
We read the details straight from that link — you don’t retype them. Temperament & medical notes come from the shelter/Instagram source when there is one — we don’t ask you to invent them. (For a rural, photo-only dog with no online post, you can add what the shelter told you.)
Facebook & X can’t be read automatically, so they can’t be the source — add them as extra share links. No online post at all? You can submit with just a photo, but photo-only dogs may be approved more slowly.
